Aaron Rothermund is a Theatre Artist. His passion includes Acting, Directing, Writing, Clown, Dance, and Puppetry. Currently he is the Artistic Director of Afterglow Theatre, and he has written/produced 2 short plays for various festivals in Toronto. July 2011 Afterglow Theatre will premiere "Ambiguous" the first full length play at the FRINGE of Toronto Festival. Recently Aaron performed in "Trudeautopia" at the 2010 FRINGE Festival, and "Little War" in 2009. Earlier in 2009 he played Bacchus in "Pentheus" at the City of Wine Festival. Aaron was mentioned in the National Post for his work in the show, and the festival was named number 2 in the NOW magazine "best of 2009." In the summer he returned to the Clay & Paper Theatre to form Cyclops: A Cycling Oriented Puppet Squad. In the fall he participated in Video Cabaret's Emerging Directors' Program as an auditor, and the Lab Cab Festival at Factory Theatre as a Performer. Aaron has graduated the Humber Theatre Performance Program with honours, and an acting achievement award.
