Madonna at TIFF today! Brad and Angelina? Mainstream film festival taking over pockets of my Toronto. As i bike home from rehearsal at 1:00am I wonder why I have never been to one of the films? Mostly I hate lines and crowds are frightening...

"The Underpants" originally written by Carl Sternheim and now adapted by the comedic genius of Steve Martin revolves around Louise Maske; an ignored housewife whose underpants unexpectedly fall down while watching the King's parade. Shortly after men start showing up under the guise of renting her and her husband Theo's spare room, but secretly hoping to have an affair with the mysterious woman whose underpants captured their lustful imagination. This fast-paced farce is a non-stop stream of witty jokes that poke fun at the uptight bourgeois lifestyle of pre-war Germany and its views of politics and sex within the middle-class.

Steady State at the Transac

The Steady State play-reading was a fantastic success. I got to act along side Aldrin Bundoc and Adam Barrett in UNDEATH IN SUMMER written by the incomparable Liam Morris.

I saw some great work by other writers such as Maya Rabinovitch, Glyn Bowerman, and Erin Fleck to name a few. I can't wait for these plays to be on the stage!

In a state, AMBIGUOUS

Hello All.

My hard drive crashed with all my files! My music, photos, and written work vanished. My bike had a flat tire. I lost 60 bucks!
C'est le vie!

With a smile from ear to ear I am gearing up for the next 5 weeks. :)

My new play AMBIGUOUS opens July 8 at the Annex Theatre as part of FRINGE 2011. We are rehearsing at Buddies in Bad Times and at The Arts and Letter Club. It looks like a special show!

We need some support.
Our fundraiser this Monday has been moved to Monday June 20th and I think it will be at the smiling Buddha. I would like to present some work from the show to tease the audience.

Let everyone you know in on the fun. Donations of $2 to Afterglow Theatre and they receive a AMBIGUOUS FRINGE 2011 pin.

A donation of $10 to the company gets them a ticket to one of our shows, and a pin.
